This is a beautiful yarn, produced from the wool fiber of our Teeswater ewe, "Daphne". The white color is natural, just as it came from the fleece of the sheep. The weight of this 2 ply yarn ranges between Fingering and Lace.
This Teeswater wool counts towards the Shave 'Em to Save 'Em (SE2SE) program through the Livestock Conservancy.

About Our Yarn
Our Wensleydales, Teeswaters and Valais Blacknose sheep produce beautiful, long, lustrous, strong wool. We send the wool to spinning mills to produce gorgeous white and natural colored yarns and roving, as well as wider a selection of colors using natural dyes. The rest of the yarn goes on to Swans Island Blankets to produce a line of handwoven blankets and throws made from our wool.
